The conventional bulkhead is constructed in a multi-step process:
- Place an order with the correct dimensions to manufacture the bulkhead
- Purchase all the building materials required to build the bulkhead
- Build the complex sub-structure out of galvanised steal with screws and bolts
- The gypsum boards are added and joined to the steal structure (either pre- or post the structure being erected on the wall / roof)
- The bulkhead is plastered with rhino-lite
- The bulkhead is sanded to achieve a smoother surface for painting
- The final structure is painted
The prefab bulkhead:
The Prefab Bulkhead is manufactured out of 9mm & 12.5mm gypsum boards and joined with an adhesive. This specialised process in condensed into:
- Order bulkhead with specified dimensions
- The bulkhead is manufactured off-site, collected or delivered
- Join the bulkhead to desired area with an L-bracket
- Paint structure
